Since Steven BV was founded in 2005, Festo has been supplying components for our machines. We work closely with them on custom solutions for our customers in the fields of pneumatic drives and control systems. Over the years, this has evolved into a long-standing partnership centered on reliability, hygiene, and ease of maintenance.
Collaboration with Festo
We use a variety of pneumatic cylinders in our machines, which are controlled via valve islands. Hygiene is a prerequisite for applications in the food industry. That is why we use components that are IP69-certified and feature a clean design. This enables quick and thorough cleaning and complies with strict cleaning and quality procedures.
For the valve islands, we work with MPA-C and VTUG, among others. We also use CRDSNU and DGRF cylinders, which were developed specifically for the food industry. This combination ensures stable control and reliable operation in production lines where continuity and reproducibility are critical.
We deliberately choose standard sizes for the cylinders to ensure that replacement remains straightforward. Since we keep a number of common sizes in stock, we can quickly assist our customers whenever a part needs to be replaced.
